A rock is a naturally occurring substance that is composed of two or more minerals. Rocks are classified by composition, texture and type.

There is a lot to say about rocks, perhaps you could create a new subpage for each class of rocks within the main page.

ok everybody, i broke down the "rocks" into different subunits as you have probably noticed up top,
i started copying and pasting all the info into its places.
now, i'm not a geography student, and don't know most of that stuff; however, by the looks of it i think i can put it in the right sections
