Velocity: |
The rate of change of position or, the change in position over time. (Can be either positive or negative, or specified as a direction) |
Speed: | The size / magnitude of the velocity. (Is always positive) |
Acceleration: |
The rate of change in velocity or, the change in velocity over time. (Is positive if the velocity change is also positive)
NOTE: - The term km/h2 is rarely / never used because it's not practical - Negative acceleration (slowing down) is opposite the direction of the force of the moving object, because in order to "cancel out" the velocity of the object, another force must hit that object in the opposite direction. (see car diagram below)

Displacement: | Distance with direction or, the change in position. |
Gravitation: |
The natural force of attraction between any two massive bodies. The natural force of attraction by an object and a celestial body, which tends to pull the object closer to the body.
NOTE: Gravitation is explained by Einstein's general relativity, or by Newton's law of universal gravitation. |
Gravity: |
The strength of a gravitational field or, the acceleration of objects under the gravitational field’s influence.
NOTE: - Acceleration on Earth's surface due to gravity is approximately - If the initial direction is upward, gravity's acceleration is -9.8m/s2 because of its downward nature - If the initial direction is downward, gravity's acceleration becomes positive (+9.8m/s2)

Instantaneous Velocity: | Slope of the tangent of a position-time graph. |
Instantaneous Position: | The location of an object at an instant, at a single time. |
Average Velocity: | Velocity measured over a finite time interval. |
Average Acceleration: | Acceleration measured over a finite time interval. |
Constant Velocity: | The object's average velocity is the same for all time intervals. |
NOTE: To convert from m/s to km/hr, multiply by 3.6 & to convert from km/hr to m/s, divide by 3.6
